Sam Nations' Version of Pattern of the Month

Sam Nation wrote:

I followed it just as it was written, hook size and everything. I used this hollywood fx yarn that I just had to have, but now can't make anything look right with. I thought it might look cool with my brown hair. This was my first time doing the pattern of the month, it's fun!

Thanks

North Autumn Crafts' Version of the Pattern of the Month

Marie wrote:

I used a 4mm hook which is between a 5/F and 6/G and Double Knit / Light worsted acrylic yarn. I had to make 42 SC around my hair bobble as it was so big compared to the yarn that I was using but I think it has given it a good ruffled texture.

As you can see it came out just large enough to fill the palm of my hand.

Happy Hooking!

Bubblegirlknits' Version of the Pattern of the Month

Lisa says:

I love this pattern, it's so quick and easy to follow! I made the scrunchi for my 3 yr old daughter, although getting her to pose for a picture was a challenge. I used a pink cotton worsted weight yarn and did 28 sc in the first round like Julie did, other than that it's exactly the same as in the pattern.

Thanks for the great pattern, look forward to doing more!

RedBerry's Version of August Pattern of the Month

Julie says:

I followed Kim's pattern exactly for my scrunchie, except I made 28 beg sc. I used Yarn Bee Soft Delight in Black color #1103.
I love how large this scrunchie is (5 1/2 inches (14 cm) across). It really shows nicely and would look great no matter what hair type you have.

Rnd 2: (CH 5, skip next SC, SC in next SC) around to end. join with SL in same ST as beg CH 5.

Rnd 3: SC in next 5 SP, CH 3 (DC, CH 2, 2DC) in same CH 5 SP. *(2DC, CH2, 2DC) in next CH 5 SP. Repeat from * around to end. join with a SL in top of beg CH 3. Fasten off.
