First, I would like to say thank you to all Hookers for their wonderful entries, everyone did such a great job on their projects, all the entries made for such a 'challenging' challenge to vote on!

Etsyhookers Team Challenge #8 has begun!


For this challenge, Hookers are asked to create something using variegated yarn, with the theme chosen by debs1967, winner of our last challenge. For this theme, variegated is also including ombres.
It seems Hookers are rising to the challenge, with entries starting to roll in only a few days after the challenge began. Take a look at all the entries below, you can click on each image to see a larger picture in the listing in the seller's shop.

Voting will begin February 10th before noon, with 8 days to vote for your favourite. Everyone is invited to vote, you do not have to be a fellow Etsyhooker, or even an Etsy seller and there is no need to sign in anywhere to do so!

This is my first blog post as the new Etsyhookers Team leader, and I hope to keep our blog up to date with new items, sales, fun themes, hints and tips, so be sure to check back often!
Our Hookers have been busy crocheting all kinds of goodies, from hats and scarves to keep you warm, to toys to warm the heart...to gifts for mom and dad. A New EtsyHookers Creative Challenge - Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose!

Here it is - a new EtsyHookers Team Creative Challenge!

The theme of this Challenge is Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose. Members were asked to create items that are environmentally friendly. Items could be crocheted from eco friendly yarn, repurposed yarn (yarn made from plastic bags, fabric strips, or old garments, etc.) and also can include recycled items (such as CD's, plastic rings from can tops, etc.).

Thank you to Doris, SturmDM, the creator of this theme and winner of our previous Challenge.
